How we look after your data.
Short version: we only ask for what we need, we never sell it, and you can ask us to delete it at any time.
Last updated: 23 April 2026
Who we are
Happy Pills Ltd is a company registered in the United Kingdom. We are the data controller for any personal information you provide through gethappypills.com. If you want to contact us about your data, email hello@happypills.com.
What we collect
When you sign up to the Founding 100, we ask for:
- Your first and last name
- Your email address
- Which formulation you're interested in (your cohort)
- Your postcode
That is all. We don't collect payment details, date of birth, or health information at this stage.
Why we collect it
We use your information for three purposes, and three only:
- To reserve your place in the Founding 100 pilot.
- To contact you about your pilot box and the launch of Happy Pills in summer 2026.
- To understand demand across age and gender cohorts so we build the right product.
Our lawful basis is your consent, given freely when you complete the signup form.
Who we share it with
We use Netlify to host this website and process form submissions securely. We may use email service providers (such as Mailchimp or similar) to send you updates — in which case your email will be held by that provider under their privacy terms.
We will never sell your data, trade it, or share it with third-party advertisers.
How long we keep it
We keep your signup data for as long as you remain a pilot participant or subscriber, and for up to 24 months after you unsubscribe (for accounting and regulatory reasons). After that, we delete it.
Your rights
Under UK GDPR, you have the right to:
- Ask what data we hold about you
- Ask us to correct anything that's wrong
- Ask us to delete your data
- Withdraw your consent at any time
- Complain to the Information Commissioner's Office
To exercise any of these rights, email hello@happypills.com with "Data request" in the subject line. We'll respond within 30 days.
Cookies
This site uses essential cookies only — no advertising trackers, no third-party analytics beyond what Netlify requires to run the site. If we add analytics in future, we will update this notice and ask for your consent.
Changes to this notice
If we materially change how we use your data, we will email you before those changes take effect. The "last updated" date at the top of this page will always reflect the current version.
